AOCPRM 2027 International Travel Grant

Guidelines & Terms for Applicants

The Organizing Committee of the 10th Asia-Oceanian Conference of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (AOCPRM 2027) invites international students, trainees, and early-career professionals to apply for the International Travel Grant to present their research in Taipei, Taiwan.

Application Open: Oct 16, 2026
Deadline: Nov 15, 2026
Notification: Dec 15, 2026
Recipient Acceptance Deadline: Jan 31, 2027
Main Conference: March 26 – 28, 2027

1.Grant Specifications & Eligibility

Coverage	Up to 3 Nights of Complimentary Accommodation during the conference. Full Registration Fee Waiver for the main Conference of AOCPRM 2027.
Eligibility	Applicants must meet both of the following criteria: Overseas International Student / Trainee OR an Early-Career Professional aged 40 or under (Applicants must be residing outside Taiwan; foreign nationals currently based in Taiwan are not eligible). Have at least one (1) abstract accepted for Oral Presentation at AOCPRM 2027.
Application	Submitted online via the official AOCPRM 2027 Registration & Submission System.
Documents	Upload required during submission: (1) Recommendation Letter from a mentor/supervisor, (2) Curriculum Vitae (CV), (3) Passport Copy.
Selection	Evaluated by the Review Committee based on Abstract Peer-Review Scores, CV, and Strength of the Recommendation Letter.

2. Terms and Conditions

Application does not guarantee acceptance of the grant or automatic acceptance of the submitted abstract.
This grant is strictly non-transferable under any circumstances.
If a recipient cannot attend, they must formally notify the Secretariat via email on or before January 31, 2027, so the grant can be reallocated to the next deserving candidate on the waiting list.
Covers the main Conference registration only; does not include Pre-conference Workshops or additional fees.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to withdraw the grant under extenuating circumstances beyond control.
The Review Committee’s decision is final; no individual correspondence or appeals will be entertained.

3. Recipient Obligations & Duties

By accepting the grant, recipients officially agree to fulfill the following duties:

Full Attendance: Must attend all three (3) main days of the conference session period.
Active Presentation: Must personally deliver their scheduled oral presentation.
Closing Ceremony: Attendance at the official Closing Ceremony of AOCPRM 2027 is mandatory.
Social Media Engagement: Share conference updates or academic experiences on personal/ institutional social media networks to promote international reach.

AOCPRM 2027 Travel Fellowship Program by the
『Professor Lien I-Nan Rehabilitation Medicine Education Foundation』

We are pleased to announce that up to ten Travel Fellowships, valued at US$400 each, will be available to support attendance at AOCPRM 2027.

These fellowships are initiated and supported by the『Professor Lien I-Nan Rehabilitation Medicine Education Foundation』, an organization that has been dedicated to promoting international exchange in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for more than two decades.

Application Requirements:

Applicants must:

Have previously received sponsorship through the Lien I-Nan Scholarship for training in Taiwan.
Have an accepted oral or poster presentation at AOCPRM 2027.
Be from the Asia-Pacific region.
